December 10th -- January 7th ---> Stress Period! January 8th onwards ---> FUN!

December 10thSenior Party of SMK SS17. Was from 7pm or so till midnight. I tell you, this night was one of the wierdest night I've ever been through. It was my first night going through Clubbing-like party. The food was unexpectedly mediocre when we paid RM50 for a ticket. Then the lights went out and Pacat, Abel, Yao Rong and dunno who else started breakdancing. Pretty cool watching them breakdance as the background was with flashy lights and misty smoke. Then one by one we all went up and started dancing like dunggus. Its like its everyone's first time dancing, all with their gelabarness.
We left earlier, bout 11 PM like that. Was kinda OK-OK for me, cause it was my first clubbing. Definitely look forward for more, but NOOOO I'm still 17 years old in 2007 =_=.

December 11th onwards.
Haiyo, life after SPM ain't so much fun as we all presumed, wasn't it? Maybe for me I guess. Deciding which path to take was a super hard decision for me. Especially right after SPM, when we all thought we could enjoy and relax. Not for me.

First I had two options to choose, Accounting or Actuarial Science. With Accounting, I could join up with Su Wei in Sunway College, at first that was my mindset, I didn't wanted to join a college and end up alone. Then I somehow wanted Actuarial Science, which I have to do 2 years in Malaysia, and another two years in US, UK or Australia. I knew it would blow up my pocket if I couldn't get a scholarship. Even with full scholarship I couldn't just easily enjoy my stay in other countries. Somehow I ended up being recommended into UTAR to do Actuarial Science.

At first I was so skeptical about this place. ITS ALL CHINESE EDUCATED PEOPLE!. Then we met up with a Doctorate holder for Actuarial Science. He managed to persuade me into joining UTAR, and told me that there is not much difference doing it here than overseas.
And then WHAM, I'm in UTAR. Greato desu!

December 31st - January 1st. New Year Party.
Man, this was also one of those memorable nights. Kinda like the last night we hung out together(for me at least) before Ariz and Ezz left for NS. Ended up going to The Curve to celebrate the coming of 2007. Nothing out of the ordinary, was outside The Curve on an open-air ban performance. The place was so packed that I hardly remember walking around there. Just before the countdown, we managed to get a few cans of Foam Spray, to obviously spray on each other. They dry fast, so no worries of clothes getting wet. As soon as countdown, people already started spraying at unknown direction. So did I, just sprayed at people we don't know. We got back to Subang through Edy fetching us. Then, Ariz and Ezz got ready for NS, and that was the last time we saw them till they came back of course.

January 3rd Orientation Starto!
Orientation is so damn horrible. To all my friends who might be going through orientation, PLEASE bring an MP3 Player or some form of handheld entertainment. Orientation is normally the hardest thing to go through if you're in an unfamiliar area. Especially if people speak the language you don't have any idea about. Lucky for me, after two hours or so, I ended up talking to a person next to me to find out he speaks English like fluently! YAY! His name is Han Jun, and somehow he is also from Subang.

January 8th First Lecture Class.
Man, the first Lecture was so damn boring. Chemistry some more. Why on earth do I have to learn Chemistry like AGAIN when I'm doing Actuarial Science? For 2 hours I couldn't even see a single shit of whats in front, since I so smart go sit behind. It's like, theres 10 rows of people in front of me. Not only that, the projector was not shun on a white screen, but on the white board. The stupid reflection of the beam kept hurting my eyes. In the lecture hall was like 130 students or so. The next class we smart already. Sit in the first 3 rows or so.

Mixing around with friends was still hard, since I don't understand the words that's coming outta their mouth. Took me about 2 weeks to finally mix with them, since some of them spoke Cantonese and English. Until now, got two of my classmates I hardly speak to, since they ONLY know Mandarin. The rest all very friendly already. I'm glad I'm in UTAR, I could say.

January 11th My Belated Birthday Night.
My actual birthday is 9th January though. Wow, I seriously thank God for that damn special night. Really its so special because I went through so much problems making it with all the last minute calls that it somehow went through smoothly. First, had to fix a day which Jenjun and Edwan NOT working. They workaholic until work 6 days a week. So Thursday was the best choice. Then I had to make it at night, since my class ends at 4 PM, and I'll reach home bout 5PM. Not only that, the next morning I had class, and so did Justine and Boon Han. We three needed to sleep early like 11PM =_=. So that was as late as it gets.

In the morning, I booked tickets for Sinking of Japan, for 6 people. At about 5pm or so, Liew called to ask me to join them with Ady's birthday at Burger King SS15 as 11th January was his actual birthday. Everything was damn chaotic. We changed our where to go area so many times. Pyramid or Burger King? Finally we chose to go to Burger King. But the bad thing was I forgot to tell Justine about the last and final decision to go to Burger King. He was already ready to go to Pyramid and was already at the Bus Stop at 15. And at that time I was still in my towel just getting ready to bath. Jen Jun was already at Edwan's house too. In the end I quickly mandi kerbau and teman Justine to CC for a while, since he was already there, and the party is like 1 and a half hours later. Then suddenly Su Wei FFK us. OK la, more polite way, he was busy on some college assignment that he couldn't come.

After a game in Infinity Domain, we joined up with the rest and went to Burger King. Ady's gang was already there, and just ordered their food. When we were ordering ours, Ady's mother was extremely kind and generous to pay for our food too. Thank you Auntie! I felt kinda bad too since its also my birthday party (belated one) and I'm not even using a single cent. After eating and laughing with all the stupid things Edwan and Boon Han did, we went to CC again. This time we went to FTZ, and somehow out of the blues there was 5 PCs together available for us. It was so wierd cause the whole cafe was damn packed at that time. Thank God for giving us 5 PCs together the MOMENT we step foot at that cafe.
Played a 5v5 game with surprisingly no leavers, and not to mention how we owned that game well, while doing stupid suicides and needless deaths. In the end I decided to belanja all of them for the CC. Untung giler for they all, Ady's Mother belanja dinner, I belanja CC.
Haha I guess thats how Birthday Parties are suppose to be, the guests freeload everything!

More to come....

December 7th 2006 - Trip to Genting.

It's 3 days after our sickeningly tough SPM Bio Paper. My friends and I went on a trip to Genting for 3days 2nights. It was one of the best times I have ever enjoyed, definitely worth my 3 days there. We met up in KTM Subang at about 9 AM, when Liew forgot to bring his money or something like that, which he then went back home to take it.

Our first train stop was at KL Central, where we had to take a Bus up to Awana, Genting. With our hopes high, we were disappointed to find that there is no Bus tickets until 11:30 AM or so. IIRC, we waited for an hour and a half there. While waiting, we had our Breakfast at McD, where Nash and Jen Jun played with their food and ended up having Coffee with Salt and Pepper. I tried tasting a sip of it, and that was the last time I could ever imagine myself gargling with Salt Water. Been sticking to my Mom's favourite remedy for Sore Throat, Apple Cider Vinegar.

It was time, and we took a bus to Awana, Genting, where we had to take a Cable Car up to the Highlands. The journey to Awana with a bus was already long enough to consume an hour. Not to mention just simply queuing up for a cable car up, since it was the holidays already. It took nearly 30 minutes from a corner to another corner of the room, where we finally managed to get a cable car.

Finally, we reached the Highlands. Strangely, it was cooling, but BURNING too. I could feel my face and hands burning but my whole body was feeling cool. Maybe the we're now nearer to the sun. While waiting for Edy to drive Edwan and Ariz up by car, we waited at a small, garden-like, waiting place. This ended up to be our most favourite hang-out spot throughout the trip. We could see right below us a winding road up. At about 2:30, finally Ariz and Edwan arrived together with Edy and Bryan.

Taking nearly 30 minutes to check-in, we entered our super small budget room, which just the size of two beds. As soon as you open the door, you can already see the sink and two toilet doors, one for shower and one for toilet. Both without locks =_+. For a while, it felt like some of us were going to sleep outside. Thankfully the two beds combined managed to fit five of us, where the other two slept on the floor with Edwan's sleeping bag.

We slept for a while after a tiring journey up, though restless Ariz, Jen Jun and Ezz left the room and went exploring Genting first. After waking up, Edwan, Nash, Liew and I took our bathes and went exploring around too in a seperate group. Took a few pictures, below. It was then a miracle happened that Edwan remembered about a Mamak Restaurant in the middle of no where's carpark. Thank God! The price was also as cheap as in Subang. All my worries about eating Maggie Cups for 3 days and 2 nights vanished. Though, to get there from our Hotel, we had to go 4 escalators up and 4 escalators down.

As we reunite with the other 3, it started raining. The rain felt very different than in lowlands, obviously colder, but it was fine tiny drops. Sometimes I couldn't tell whether it was raining or not. When it is "raining", it would just feel like those liquid fan that sprays super tiny drops at you but does not get you wet at all. After having our dinner at the mamak restaurant, we went exploring again throughout the night. Everything in Genting is just too expensive. McD's Fillet o Fish Medium set is priced at 12 bucks, excluding government tax. It was extremely fun just walking outside at night. Vision was slightly poor with all the water vapours, but it felt much better than in an air-cond room.

The first night was kinda horrible for me. I had terrible stomach ache, maybe because of Teh Tarik. I've heard that at certain times, a person's body cannot take Milk with Caffeine. Lucky for me, after that cup, until now, I have no problems with Teh Tarik anymore. Sleeping next to Ezz was a bad idea. First, he woke me up when he made weird noises with his mouth, then the pillow that was suppose to be shared, was stolen by him. I tried taking it back without waking him up, but NO he pushed me unconsciously. Then his hand went under the pillow, under his head, which resulted in his elbow below my back. Crap! Had to sleep with his damn elbow behind my back. If I tried to move abit, I'd fall on Ariz, who was sleeping on the floor.

Everyone wanted to wake up early, so we can have fun at the Theme Park longer. About 5 of us set alarms to wake us up early. Ariz's stupid alarm rang at 6:30 to wake him up for school. He forgot to turn it off since school has already ended. Then came other alarms from different handphones in different directions. Funnily, some of us heard the alarm but none of us woke up to off them, except for Edwan. He woke up a few times just to off them. I only woke up to off my alarm though.

2ND Day, yay! Finally Theme Park. As we were about to buy our tickets, a lady came to us and asked us if we wanted to buy tickets FROM her. Was about 8 Bucks cheaper than normal. We figured that these tickets were for tourists that bought the tickets through a package. First ride as a warm-up was sitting on a chair like a swing, and getting spinned around in circles. Then we rode the Roller Coaster, where Nash lost one part of his lense. Then came the most anticipated ride ever, the Solero Shot, which is renamed into Space Shot. It takes you up alllll the way up, until you can see almost whole Genting. Then lets you go on Free Fall. At first, Liew chickened out! Pok Pok Pok!! Then as we were about to reach the end of the queue, he joined us again. As we were FreeFalling, it felt extremely fun and thrilling. Ariz said he tried to shout but he couldn't shout. Voice box too low pressure at that time, maybe. Later we tried shouting even before we Free Falled, it worked! We could shout during the whole fall! Damn, that was the best stress release I'd ever had. The only thing that sucked was, when you reach the top, they'll keep you at hold for a while, you can NEVER expect when you are going to fall. It just happens so damn fast, that you have to count on your instinct to tell. Since there was 7 of us, it was kinda boring for 1 person who had to sit alone. IIRC, we sat this ride three times for the whole day.

The other rides were Bumper Cars, Bumper BOATS, Ferris Wheel, yada yada yada. The Ferris Wheel lady was really nice, she smiled at us every time we called to her from the wheels. At night after dinner, we tried the Go-Kart. Waiting for our turn took nearly ages. Not to mention we had to sign a "Death Letter" saying that if we had any accidents, they are not responsible. Then we had to sit in a room and start reading how to use the Go-Kart. When it started, I was extremely lucky to get a Kart that was the fastest among the rest. I started out last but ended up first. It was really imbalanced. On each car had "No Bumping!". Still everyone recklessly bumped at each other. Though they limited our ride from 10 Minutes to 5 Minutes, since it was "raining" water vapours. Bad vision.

As it "rained" alot of rides started to close down. Was sad, but luckily we managed to get the spinning around in circle ride once more. This time was way more refreshing since it was "raining".

Later that night, we went around exploring the rest of Genting. The only place we didn't manage to visit was Ria Apartments, which requires a car if you want to get there in 10 minutes. Visiting there was the last thing on my list, since nearly all my other friends who stayed there, encountered ghostly activities. I've also heard the 14th Floor of that place was sealed up. When you enter the Elevator, the 14th Floor's button is removed. Some in the internet say that they explored the 14th Floor by climbing up the stairs. The Door was locked but was still easily broken. They found that in EACH door, there is a Chinese "Fu" pasted on them, with red Chinese writing. Next thing they know, they got sick for 3 days.

We managed to visit all of Genting. It felt really disappointing, that Genting is that small, that we could visit every part of it in 2 days. On the last night there, we hung out at the garden-like area again. All the lights were out, since it was already 2AM. Only the 7 of us were there, chitchatting. Then from talking about Bleach Anime we jumped to talking about Ghost Stories that actually happened or experienced by some of us for about an hour.

3rd Day, Bye-Bye time. We left Genting using the same route. Nothing much on the 3rd Day. Except waiting from 11:00 to 1:30 for a Bus Ride back to KL Central. While waiting, we went exploring nearby, and saw many many monkeys. One got very near to us, and we thought it was friendly. Then he showed his fangs at us, and he growled at us. We were like WTF! In the end, we reached home at about 5pm or so. And thats the end of our Genting Trip. Whew, what a long essay.

Getting Started!

Geez! Why am I blogging? Even I don't know.
Heh, I'm just too bored to be doing anything else right now.
Maybe this blog will end up being empty, who knows?
Anyway, more to come about my life in the past few weeks!
